A majestic Vegvisir, the Nordic compass, printed large on the back of a high-end brushed cotton sweatshirt. Oak branches intertwine around it, and in the center, as a symbol of good omen, we find the wanderer's rune.

A Vegvisir sweathirt in oak

Our sweatshirt Vegvisir bio is our own interpretation of the famous Vegvisir, a symbol of Icelandic magic that brings good luck to travelers. We've combined it with our signature oak tree, and added the wanderer's rune in the center, to create one of the most iconic Vegvisirs we've ever seen.

The initial symbol comes from an old book called the Galdabrok, an Icelandic mage's book. From it we drew a unique vegvisir t-shirt, printed by us.

Sometimes thought of as a Viking t-shirt, the Vegvisir is actually much more recent: the symbol dates back only to the 16th century.
