A symbol of rebellion & adventure

Our emblem is the wanderer's rune, also called Rune(s) of Oak (Runes de Chêne in French). A collection of engravings and ancient symbols found in the 4 corners of Europe and its history.

This symbol conveys a vision of the world halfway between the new and the old. It speaks to all those who draw inspiration for the future from the past. In forgotten values of adventure, camaraderie, authenticity and beauty, strength and rebellion against the coldness of the modern world.

Those who haven't lost the will to fight.

Those who hum songs from the depths of time.

Those who walk their old-growth forests with respect.

Those who vibrate to the beauty of what has been bequeathed to us.

Rekindling the flame

History is an eternal source of learning and inspiration, from which we draw to develop iconic T-shirts capable of educating and aspiring to great things. Worn as a conscience, a Runes de Chêne defends a vision of the world that opposes cultural erasure, the standardization of peoples and the monotony of modernity.

Serving the people

We defend the postulate that benevolence between peoples depends on taking root in and taking pride in one's heritage, rather than erasing or ignoring it. Like human beings, a people who don't love themselves can't love others, or offer them anything good.

Our artistic direction is particularly interested in the folklore of Europe's indigenous peoples, to bring a fresh vision that defies preconceived ideas.
